The Kotzschmar Organ is one of the oldest working municipal pipe organ in the United States. Housed at the beautiful century old Merrill Auditorium, it is a site to visit in Portland, Maine. The organ is currently undergoing a complete, professional renovation with Foley-Baker Inc. of Tolland, CT.

Municipal Organist Ray Cornils has served Portland and the Kotzschmar Organ since 1990. Cornils performs several times each year and hosts the popular Kotzschmar Konversation with visiting artists prior to their concerts.
