Education Resource – Messiaen Curriculum

As part of our Kotzschmar 4 Kids education outreach, The Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ (FOKO) is pleased to present this curriculum based on the life and music of Olivier Messiaen (1908-1992). Exploring Music with the Pipe Organ: Olivier Messiaen Comes to Visit is the product of ten years of active in-classroom teaching. Alan Kozinn Concert Review: Ken Cowan 9/26/15

Ken Cowan gave a marvelous performance on Saturday, September 26th, his first concert since the completion of the Kotzschmar’s centennial renovation (revisit program notes here). Among the audience members was Allan Kozinn, former music critic and culture writer for The New York Times.
